Here in Georgia, school is starting back in 3 short weeks. It is hard to believe school is so close, which makes it feel like the end of summer is at hand, which it clearly isn’t. There is still plenty of time for summer adventures, and of course I love those that involve the kitchen. These adventures usually start with a trip to the farmer’s market or picking your own fruit. I am fortunate to have blueberry bushes, fig trees and pear trees in my yard for summer picking fun, though pick your own farms are also plentiful in many parts of the country.
