Happy Halloween! I couldn’t resist sharing the above picture from 2 years ago. It is hard to believe how fast time flies. Guess I’m a little nostalgic as we prepare to welcome our little girl in a few short months. And those pumpkins are by far my favorite – some good friends made those for us that year and surprised us with them – I am definitely not that talented!
If you are looking for last minute tips for Halloween or want a recipe for a yummy Turkey and Pumpkin Chili in the Slow Cooker recipe, then check out my guest blog over at Dr. Z and Friends. I made this chili last week and it was delicious for a fun, seasonal twist.
Here is this week’s menu plan:
Monday: Neighborhood Halloween Party
Tuesday: Lemon and Herb CrockPot Roasted Chicken with Homemade Macaroni & Cheese and Steamed Broccoli
Wednesday: Chicken and Tofu Enchiladas with Green Salad
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: Pasta with Roasted Peppers, Turkey Meatballs and Spinach
Saturday: Pork Loin Chops in Slow Cooker (going to make up my own recipe – will post if good!), Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts
Sunday: Cheesy Fish Sticks, Roasted Acorn Squash and Green Beans
Hope everyone has a safe and fun-filled Halloween.
