This past week’s menu was taken from 365 Slow Cooker Suppers, a new cookbook by Stephanie O’Dea, who writes the wildly popular blog, A Year of Slow Cooking. The Creamy Pumpkin Pasta above was my favorite dish of the week. To read more about the cookbook and the dishes I prepared last week, read my review posted yesterday.
This week’s menu is devoted to cleaning out the refrigerator and freezer. I’m going to be doing a lot of pantry and freezer cooking for the next week or two as I need to work down our supplies to prepare for some upcoming house renovations! Yikes!
Here is what is on tap this week:
Monday: Leftover Chicken Pot Pie with a Green Salad
Tuesday: Garden Lentil Bolognese with a Fruit Salad
Wednesday: 21 Ingredient Chili from 365 Slow Cooker Suppers with Shredded Carrot and Raisin Salad
Thursday: Nachos made with Leftover Chili and Roasted Zucchini
Friday: Evening Out
Saturday: Freezer Leftovers
Sunday: Husband’s Birthday Dinner
Have a wonderful week. For more menu planning ideas, go to Menu Plan Monday on I’m an Organizing Junkie!
